Aetek FYK concept

The FYK concept car was developed by Norwegian company Aetek, in conjunction with and sponsored by Statoil. The FYK was designed to highlight natural and hydrogen gas powered environmentally friendly vehicles.
Statoil provide the fuel for the FYK concept car. They see the natural and hydrogen gas mixture called NaturalHy (HCNG) which consists of 8-20% hydrogen, 92-80% compressed natural gas to be a commercially viable step towards a future potential all-hydrogen market.
The FYK concept car is built almost entirely from recyclable aluminium including body, chassis, wheels, engine and even interior elements. Exterior and interior design of the FYK concept show different aluminium shaping techniques and surface treatments.

Honda said the powertrain can be an internal combustion engine, hybrid-electric or battery-NUT listrik.P just a "design study".Both sides of the middle back seat driving position, with the setup provides a lot of legroom. They rear seats can be folded up and out of the way to increase storage capacity. Double windshield as head-up display for the navigation system and backup camera.Honda said the P-NUT is 133.8 inches long with a width of 68.9 inches and 56.6 inches high. The purpose of the exterior and the interior designer is to explore the potential of new types of small-segment-category of vehicles that have overcome many objections to microcar design.

BRB-EVOLUTION Concept

There are plenty of eco-friendly cars that are around in the market today giving everyone a wide range of options to choose from when they wish to go green. There are also many concept cars that are around which will hopefully one day hit the road as they seem to be a wonderful alternate to the available models filled with green features and loaded with design improvements that really are of great use in everyday life.

Here is a sweet car concept called BRB Evolution.Daniel Bailey, the designer, figured the two of the main problems of the future in big cities would be the pollution and over population, he wanted to design a car which powered by electricity and a hydrogen fuel cell to deal with the pollution issue, while the fold-able concept is to help with the limited available parking space. This potentially doubles the amount of parking spaces! two rollers would come from the bottom, roll the car up, turn and slide the car into the space sideways, the driver would have to exit prior to the folding. This car design was inspired by Peugeot 908 and Lamborghini Murcielago, with 180 degree moon roof, this concept car definitely sleek and sexy.

This car concept is called BRB Evolution, because it has the ability of this car to fold up to 50% of its original size. Daniel Bailey, the designer, figured the two of the main problems of the future in big cities would be the pollution and over population, he wanted to design a car which powered by electricity and a hydrogen fuel cell to deal with the pollution issue, while the fold-able concept is to help with the limited available parking space. Nice to see that modern designers are more and more often coming up with designs that address specific problems which in this case happen to be pollution and lack of space.

The BRB Evolution is a very interesting concept apart from the name itself which is pretty nice if you ask me. The BRB is a car designed to free you up from parking hassles and it is designed to reduce the energy consumed by all those parking lots by reducing the parking space. The concept is so simple and yet so fundamentally sound that it holds your attention and you really have very little to be skeptical about. If you reduce the space of parking for each car, the parking lot accommodates more number of them leading to the requirement of less number of parking lots!

Robert Kubica came seventh and scored two more points at the Turkish Grand Prix to add to the BMW Sauber F1 Team’s tally. These are the first two points for the Pole in 2009. His team mate, Nick Heidfeld, came 11th in the heat of the Istanbul Park.

Robert Kubica
BMW Sauber F1.09-03 / BMW P86/9
Fastest lap 1:28.008 min on lap 58 (7th fastest overall)“It is good to finally score points. I think I raced well today. My pace was good and I made no mistakes. The race was very hard, as nearly all the time I had someone very close behind me, and the smallest mistake would have cost a position. It was very hard to keep up the pace. However, finishing seventh was a clear step forward and we now have to keep up the speed of development.”
Nick Heidfeld
BMW Sauber F1.09-06 / BMW P86/9
Fastest lap 1:28.214 min on lap 43 (10th fastest overall)“For me today’s race was disappointing because I lost all my chances in the beginning when I had a problem with the car. As early as the formation lap I realised the car pulled to one side and the front left tyre had no grip at all. It stood still when I tapped the brakes softly. The start itself was okay as I was ninth, but then I more or less went straight on in the first corners because of my problems, and quite a few cars went by me. It was better in the second and third stints, but it was way too late for points. Nevertheless it is positive that the car has generally improved and again we are able to score on our own merits.”
Mario Theissen (BMW Motorsport Director):
“This was a thrilling race for us right from the start to the chequered flag. Coming from P10, Robert made it to seventh and therefore deserved the two championship points due to his great commitment. In the early stages our cars were not fast enough to make up ground compared to our competitors. Only after lap 40 were our drivers able to set the lap times which we expected. Nick lost a lot of ground and many positions right after the start and was therefore not in a position to fight for championship points. Conclusion of the weekend: Our car was fast enough today to score points thanks to our own performance. This is the basis from which we will prepare the next development steps.”
Willy Rampf
“For our team today’s race was really exciting. Our strategy proved the right one and Robert was able to exploit the car’s potential. We were rewarded with two World Championship points. Nick’s race was over immediately after the start. Despite our positive result there is no reason for slowing down now. We have to make more progress quickly to close the gap to the top teams. However, tonight we are happy about Championship points."
